According to an article published by PRNewswire on May 12, 2016, Nick Hughes had no idea of the career he wanted to take when he left the United States Navy about three years ago. Nick admits that transition to civilian life was not easy. The best part is that today, Nick is three weeks away from graduating from College of Southern Nevada. Nick is taking an applied science in air conditioning technology program that takes two years to complete. Nick Hughes is a beneficiary of the Post 9/11 Veterans Tools Award. Ken Goodrich, the owner of Goettl Air Conditioning, sponsors the Veterans Tools Award.

The Tools Award gave Hughes the chance to choose $1000 of tools that he would take with him to the next step of his career. Ken Goodrich also sponsors the J. Duncan Goodrich Air Conditioning Technology Lab and the Son of a Gun scholarship. The Tools award is the second donation given by Ken. The Son of a Gun scholarship is usually awarded to a current student from various generation families in the air conditioning sector.

Goodrich said that throughout his career, he has observed that people who come out of the military become good employees. The scholarship according to Goodrich aims at giving people the opportunity to start out strong in the air conditioning industry. Dennis Soukup, the chair of applied science department at the college said that he collaborated with Goodrich when the award was established, and based the benefits on personal experience. According to PRNewswire, the award is now its second year and it will be given to a graduating student each year.

Hughes was a cook for seven years in the Navy. He is from Northern California, and he did well at the two-year program. Currently, Hughes is working at a local heating and air conditioning contracting firm. Hughes, who is 28 years old said that the tools required are costly and one requires so many of them. Nick was excited, and he expressed his gratitude to the award saying that the support was amazing and awesome.

Goettl Air Conditioning Is The Choice Of The People

When it comes to the people, they are the ones that have the power when it comes to certain things. They can make or break a company, a movie, or a business of any sort. When they speak, people listen, as they are the true test of success. That is why it is great there are sites like Angieslist.com out there to help people make decisions. When it comes to their hard earned money, they don’t want to doll it out to just anyone. They want to make sure they are giving their money to a company that has earned it and they will get their money back and then some. They want it to be a wise investment. One of the wisest investments out there is Goettl Air Conditioning.

Besides the work of Ken Goodrich and his talented staff, it is the people that have helped Goettl Air Conditioning stay in business for over seven decades and been as successful as they have been. They have spoken about Goettl Air Conditioning and they have spread the word to everyone they know. People listen to each other, trust each other, and rely on each other. If something was not right, they would be the first to come out and say something about it. However, they have seen how well they have installed products and repaired products. They have seen that the work speaks for itself and is grade A work.

Quite frankly, Ken Goodrich would not have it any other way. His name is attached to this as his head of the company. Because of this, they have a responsibility to give back to the people and to uphold that name and keep it going for as long as they wish to do this, which is hopefully a long time for the people of Arizona.
