The Shades Valley Camera Club, serving the Greater Birmingham, Alabama
metro area, was organized in 1954 and has functioned continuously
since its inception. The club's purpose has not changed - sharing the
fascinating hobby of photography. Photographic knowledge is shared
through competitions, workshops, field trips and friend****ps. The club
embraces all photography styles across both film and digital mediums.
Meetings are held monthly on the first Thursday and third Thursday.
All meetings are held on the lower level in room 101 at the Homewood
Public Library (1721 Oxmoor Road, Homewood AL 35209) and begin at
7:00PM. Visitors are welcome.
Club members are entitled to their own personal website gallery on
the club's Internet website at: www.shadesvalleycameraclub.com
There are no costs associated with this club benefit; your
paid member****p fee ($10 per 6-months) covers it all. And once your
gallery is established, you can send a direct link to family, friends
and business associates which will take them right to your images.
