DON'T call Charter! They've got this horrible voicemail thing where
they take 15 minutes to tell you, step by agonizing step, to cycle
the power on your cable modem, then PC. Not only is it hellish
(complete with elevator music), but (a) they ignore the possibility
that you've got a router in there, and (b) the *problem* they're
having smells like a DNS server problem.
Oh yeah, and (c) there's no way to get to a human being.
Christ! I'm thinking of dumping Charter and going with AOL!!! AOL
couldn't possibly be this stupid.

[D]on't listen to the talk about having shows beamed directly into
your brain. That's science-fiction nonsense. Shows will be stored in
the pancreas and will enter the brain through the bloodstream after
being downloaded into your iHole. - Joss Whedon
