Don't you realize that crime in the US is a growth industry. Over 2
million
people incarcerated. God knows how many law enforcement/judicial
workers/corrections workers earning a living off of the backs of
criminals.
The US is waging a full scale war here on its own doorstep. Just about
every
second person is toting a gun - FBI, CIA, DEA, ATF, State Police, City
Police, County Sheriffs, Border Guards, Customs/Immigration Officers, Park
Police, University Police, etc, etc. Over 100 million firearms owned by
private citizens.Not to mention the amount of firepower in the hands of
the
military and dictated by good old dubya. It is really frightening. Just
imagine how many people would be unemployed if crime suddenty decreased
markedly. God Bless America, because it certainly needs blessing.
