Olbermann & Maddow: Why Are Democrats Afraid to Impeach Cheney?

Cheney has an 11 percent approval rating, so why are Democrats scared
to take him to task in front of the entire nation?

Keith Olbermann discusses with Rachel Maddow the Democratic “strategy”
behind denying Denis Kucinich’s impeachment resolution. Both
Republicans and Democrats may have been using failed political
strategies, but the real losers are the American people. This kind of
partisan cowardice keeps Congress from fulfilling their constitutional
obligations. Those Democrats who work against the impeachment of
Cheney are indeed making a good case for their own impeachment.
*An open letter to Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed and the rest of the
do-nothing democrats;
The republicans are running out of time - and so are you! If you
cannot focus on the will of the people, our constitution and do what
we elected you to do, you are going to lose the election in 2008. The
people are not as narrow minded as you are with your obsession with
re-elections over the agenda the American have for you. If you are so
afraid of standing up for me now, then what would more democrats do
other than be a side arm for the Republican party. Vote Republican
and at least something will get done. Have you ever heard of the old
saying, "any decision at this point would be a good one?" You people
fit this very well. You demonstrate that all it would take is one
Republican in congress to stop you from doing anything. He or she
would accuse you of being unpatriotic, not supporting the troops and
you will by your own history, fold. This nation needs to change it's
direction now, not 14 months from now. For then it may be too late.
So, continue on your current path and lose. This voter will not vote
for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances and that has nothing
whatsoever to do with her sex. She is going to support corporate
America, the Bush terrorist agenda and deplete all financial resources
in this country ignoring health care, the aged, education and the
environment. What good is health care that only the rich can afford?
If the aged cannot afford to live why should we vote for you?
