I was just looking over stories and news about the San Francisco, Folsom
Street Fair, advertisement which mocks and, seemingly purposely so, the
Supper of Christ. Never mind that years ago, at the same fair, they had
and
then removed a crucifix that was hung that had tomatoes thrown at it for
s****t or whatever their reasons.
It seems all you seem to hear about is "hating Christians" and how
Christians always judge others and "thump" others. Maybe advertisements
like this is no problem to non-Christians? Could be that groups such as
formulated this ad for the Street Fair get a "free ride" and are without
criticism.
My feeling is for those who identify with the group that formulated this
advertisement and remain silent about the content of the advertisement or
see nothing wrong with it then they are just as guilty, if not more so, of
the same hate and slander that they accuse Christians in general of just
because Christians take a stand that is in opposition to positions they
hold
close and dear. The advertisement which is a perverted take on Christ
Last
Supper is evident to be a slander an attack on the Church and Christians
in
general as if to openly ridicule by using one of the Christian sacraments.
This being the case and their seemingly lack of concern or caring for
other
people, as they so many times say is all they are asking for, is outright
blatant hypocrisy of the most overt manner and is just reason for much of
the condemnation that is levied against the group of hateful and biased
people.
