The following below was emailed to Miller Brewing. I hope each of you will
take the time to compose your own thoughts and present them to the email
address I have provided at the bottom reflecting your personal feelings
about the context within.
I wrote a letter to your company expressing my distaste for Miller's
sponsor****p of the Folsom street fair due mostly to the poster depicting
the
last supper which I believe Miller saw as too controversial and had their
name pulled but continued to sup****t, financially, this fair.
NOW - after the fair we hear of the desecration of the Catholic Church
which
was totally disgraceful and pre-planned.
For THREE reasons I hope to hear (very openly and very publicly) that
Miller
Brewing company, through very public and open advertisements in the media,
that Miller has chosen to pull all future funding or sponsor****p of any
event tied to this group.
Reason 1 ) Generation and creation of the Poster mocking the last supper.
Reason 2 ) During the fair itself dildos and *** toys in the shape and
image of Catholic saints and Jesus Christ were being sold openly and in
front of Children.
Reason 3) The desecration, and willful, purposeful, invasion of the
Catholic Church during the celebration of the Eucharist and to mock the
Eucharist.
Any one of these three reasons alone should be reason and justification
enough to pull sponsor****p and funding form this group but together they
demonstrate pre-planned and demonsratable hatred of anything Christian and
was completely unprovoked and unjustifiable. Your (Miller's Brewing
Company) if they continue to sup****t or sponsor financially the Folsom
Street fair or anything this openly rebellious group does will only
associate Miller with the same hate and biased feelings and actions of the
same group.
I for one plan to write editorials mentioning this letter and I for one
expect to openly and publicly see Miller Brewing announce that they are
withdrawing any future sup****t due to the very reasons that I posted
above.
I don't know that any litigation will ensue over their activities however
it
should for the violation was willful and preplanned and definitely fall
into
the area of a hate crime as the intent was to terrify and offend
Christians
of the Catholic Church and very likely Christians in general. I realize
that the Church has been no friend to Miller Brewing Company either
through
their standing or beliefs concerning drinking. I for one, as a Christian,
do not hold that the drinking of an alcoholic beverage is not sinful
however
drinking to excess is but then almost anything taken to excess which harms
a
persons body falls into that category whether it be eating, drinking or
watching TV. The main idea is what harms the body which holds not only
the
persons inner spirit or soul but the actual Holy Spirit of God which
dwells
within each believer.
As a cor****ation are you willing to agree and back the actions of the
militants of the group that held the Folsom Street Fair? Your continued
sup****t of this group whether public or private is taking their side and
agreeing with their actions as just and right.
Please PULL YOUR SPONSOR****P openly as a gesture to anyone reasonable,
Christian or Not that hate actions like this against ANY group is not only
deplorable but not tolerated. A copy of this letter, minus my contact
information will be posted to other boards and groups that I am a member
of
along with my suggestion that they write to Miller Brewing Company
millerbrewingonline@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and express their own outrage and
sup****t
for the call for Miller to pull its funding and sup****t for this same
group.
