You would think by now MS would have Vista tweaked to work better than XP
but that appears not to be the case.
I just ordered an AMD Athlon 64X2 6000 3GHz, 2GB DDR2, MSI motherboard
and 500GB WD HD.
I may just put a copy of Win 2000 Pro and Linux on the new build.
Installing Linux and getting it working should be fun.
