Sounds like the thought about premature releasing of it might be right. I
can honestly say that I've used the last Beta version and have replaced it
totally with the Gold Master Release and thankfully I've not had any of
those issues and hope that I don't.
The only problem that I can re****t as having, and it is a problem, is that
the HP Drive for my HP LaserJet 2605DN is not working. I may have to
reload
another driver from HP or Apple but as of now the one on my HP Disk that
came with the printer isn't working and allowing me to print through
Leopard
but I haven't downloaded the new ones because I use my desktop for my
printing and it has Tiger on it.
I like Leopard but I also like Tiger and I could, if I wanted, go back to
Tiger but as of now I doubt I will. Like VISTA I've also heard of some
programs not working with Leopard where it would work with Tiger.
I do feel that if all the complaints, which I think they are, are valid
then
Apple will put as #1 Job to get them working right. I can't see Apple
leaving themselves open for Microsoft to come after them. I also use VM
Ware and run Windows XP Home in a virtual environment on my MacBook Pro
under Leopard and it runs flawlessly and better than on any Windows
computer
that I have ever used.
I agree though I think they should have waited a little longer for the
mandatory release but I think they painted themselves into a corner and
forced themselves to release the program. Still I don't think their
headaches are what Microsoft's are with Vista.
