Just was listening to some talk about the situation with Huckabee pardoning
the rapist that went on to ***ually assault and kill another woman in an
adjoining state. This very type thing was put forth, by the Republican
Party, as reason for disqualifying Dukakis (pardon the spelling if wrong).
I think this is obscenely poor judgment and although ONE single event it
only takes ONE very wrong judgment to cause much harm to the Government
and
the United States. I think this should hurt his chances if not disqualify
him for consideration. I did listen to Romney's speech also and was
actually impressed with it. I'm also offended that so many people try and
politicize it to the point of showing their own ignorance. The speech was
mostly James Madison who was one of the founding fathers and many of the
complaints of the speech criticize the content as if Mr. Romney thought of
it himself. Not that our founding fathers were foolproof or beyond
reproach and they did live in a different time than we do but the content
of
the message I feel was right on point and I think he did his candidacy
benefit by it.
On the Hillary Front I'm fearing that her handlers are about to handle her
right into a third place showing in Iowa and possibly second place on the
national front. This to me is very im****tant because I don't judge a
president as much on His total ability but in large part on that ability,
actions, AND who he chooses to surround himself with. That is the people
the president picks for VP and other cabinet post. I liked Hillary but
I'm
thinking her Campaign staff is about to blow it for her.
