I hear alot of local people ba****ng democrats for being socialists. The
shoals area seems to have a lot of people who call themselves conservative
republicans, but it is one of the most socialist areas I have ever lived
in.
Government run power (TVA), government run entertainment (s****tsplex, golf
courses, etc) and you also had government run internet services. That
doesnt
count the other government run services that most places have - libraries,
schools, etc. and other schemes I've forgotten.
