I also know that Charter serves some areas of around Tus***bia or around
the
intersection of Hwy 20 (Alt 72) & Hwy 157. From what I hear though the
customers of Charter say that it's so hit and miss and the coverage in the
area is so bad that Satellite is far more reliable even in a heavy rain
storm. Could be folks are tapping in illegally and using unapproved
converter boxes which noise up the signal but I suspect that Charter just
doesn't give this area enough concern to fix things.
Either way it goes these Cable companies certainly have more of a monopoly
than AT&T did before and speaking of Monopoly isn't that just what AT&T is
doing again by buying up all the baby bells? Someone somewhere, including
the politicians, are making megabucks while everyone else suffers.
