I'd call the skin more a very dark purple than black. I break out in a
rash when I eat too many tomatoes these days, so I didn't pay a lot of
attention to them. On the other hand, I was fascinated by the black
plum tomatoes! They are a small cherry type tomato that have the
flavor of tomatoes I grew up eating. The skin of them is a deep red
with a black tint. The inside is what fascinated me. When ripe, the
inside was a deep green wth a blackish tint. It looked nauseating, and
if I had seen the inside of one before popping a whole one in my
mouth, I wouldn't have eaten it. I'm glad I leaped before I looked in
that case. I didn't think I would ever taste a tomato with so much
flavor again.

Dang, it's late. My verb tenses are all screwed up! Think I'm headed
to bed.
