That's the point though.  I, also, have never heard of the US as a
Republic
but the point was that the writers of the Constitution and the Founding
Fathers never meant for the US to be a Democracy but rather that it not be
a
Democracy but rather it be and remain a Republic as defined in the linked
article that I posted with the last post of mine.
