It's not about creating jobs but adding to the attractions for the area to
draw tourists and help in business growth.
It may well work in Decatur as they are sitting on an interstate and will
benefit from that which was not possible in the shoals.
I recently read an article where 6 other states are now trying to
duplicate
Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf trail which wasn't about creating a lot
of jobs but increasing tourists from outside the area and making it more
attractive for future business growth.
You and the other anti RSA project whiners will get to eat crow for many
years over the RSA project, but I suspect down the road all of you will
claim to have been big supporters.
