It's rather ironic after I mentioned the fact that speculators and large
financial institutions had a hand in the spiralling food prices that CNN
Money had a video on today confirming this as fact.
It seems that hedge funds and speculators decided that housing and other
markets they have trashed are not profitable enough anymore to satisfy
American greed and now they are going after food.
You free market Republicans, except when it comes time to bail out Wall
Street or the wealthy, are going to realize in the next few years GREED
has
many hidden dangers.
Sam's club and Costco have put a limit on Rice sales due to the outrageous
prices in Rice futures caused by Wall Street Financial investors deciding
that food is even more valuable than Oil and they have moved into this
market and bought grain and other food products futures and the price will
go through the roof which means you can look for hunger in America to
become rampant in the future.
Food prices will follow Oil prices unless there are major changes in this
voting for the ANTI TAX candidates who have found a little SLOGAN to get
elected by the IGNORANT and turn control of the government over to the
Greedy and wealthy.
You people who voted for that RETARD in the Whitehouse and got your tax
cut
are now going to pay for it like you never imagined. There are NO FREE
LUNCHES.
Any President or Leader worth his salt would immediately get legislation
to
put a 90% tax on energy and food futures speculation profits and stop this
corrupt practice which will destroy this country rapidly and result in
chaos like we have never seen before.
Poor people who can't afford gas are one thing but mad hungry people are
an
entirely different matter.
