Interesting, Scary, and all too factual today

by Gary <kw4z@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 4, 2008 at 02:16 PM

The following you-tube link:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=FqfunyCeU5g

Presents some interesting information. Granted that much is estimation
much
is also founded in fact and based upon current knowledge. Many that feel
that we (US of A) are the center of everything or that go around slap
happy
each day because everything in our little cocoon is rosy can suddenly
awaken
to a new reality in a very uncertain future. We are in a world that we
are
fast declining in and setting ourselves up for an almost certain
confrontation with disastrous consequences.

The sad part is what will happen will happen as neither this post or any
present activities or actions will circumvent anything that is presented
in
the short clip. Even if the estimates are wrong the facts presented are
awakening enough. It's an interesting presentation if you care to take a
look or listen.

For those that don't a few of the facts presented are:
If you are 1 in a Million in China then there are 1300 more people just
like
you. In China the number top 25% IQ people surpass the total population
of
the US. In India if you are 1 in a million then there are 1100 more
people
like you and the their top 28% of IQ people top the total US Population.

In 6 minutes 60 babies in the US are born whereas 244 Chinese babies are
born and 351 babies in India are born. If every single US Job was moved
to
China they would still have a Labor surplus based upon current demand.

Which Country is this, all apply?
Richest Country in the World, Strongest Educational System, World center
of
innovation and invention, Currency is the worlds standard, has the Highest
Standard of Living and the Largest Military.

The presentation says from 1900 it's Brittan but many say China is soon to
overtake Brittan in many categories. Personally, although I haven't
checked, I can't believe all those statements are correct. I thought
China
had the largest military as it was today but then I don't know Jack all
too
often.

What I am alarmed about is that our current educational system,
nationwide,
is failing and foundering and we are putting far more children on the
streets that are incapable or unwilling to compete in today's society and
job market. We are graduating far more kids that can't name the 50
states,
don't know the Constitution or Declaration of Independence or why they are
important. Don't care to know the History of America, the victories and
pluses and yes the mistakes which we also can learn from. We are a
society
that seeks to equate everyone meaning that if there is someone in the
class
that isn't excelling or learning then lets bring the entire class down to
their level so as not to offend or embarrass that person. We don't reward
excellence or people that excel unless we measure excellence in terms of
Greed then we encourage those to excel by walking over those that can't
keep
up. We are fast creating an ever growing chasm between those that have
and
those that don't and along with that chasm we are teaching envy for those
that don't have and that it's alright to take from those that do have and
teaching those that do have that it's alright to manipulate those that
don't
have and that it is permissible to control them rather than address
problems
and remedy them.

We attempt to teach schools without any moral directions or principals for
morality comes from God and an understanding of God's principals and laws
and since "there is no God" then certainly we can't have state schools
teach
anything that might be deemed as religious or Christian and yet over the
years we have allowed this philosophy to seep through our schools
teachings
and programs. Even from a child we learn to indoctrinate the young
through
politically correct cartoons and indoctrinate rather than entertain.

Sorry I'll put away my soap box again.
