I don't think it will go to $7.50 for some time and even then it is
doubtful as the economy will collapse before that point is reached. The
cost of homes, cars, and other major items will be beyond the means of
most. Even the upper middle class (Greediest among us) and wealthiest
will have to choose between ruin or reform.
1. Major reform in our actions of being totally irresponsible and
continuing an unsustainable economy where corruption and greed are
rewarded with raises and promotions.
2. Return to some reasonable values, respect for others, and prison time
for drug use and serious crimes.
Elimination of free legal services for everyone except those facing life
in prison or the death penalty. Elimination of Juvenile delinquency,
(taxpayer paid program for creating experienced young criminals).
Automatic loss of retirement and benefits for anyone embezzling or
stealing from taxpayers.
No government jobs for convicted felons or multiple misdemeanors.
Elimination of Government unions for state and Federal employees, they
can be fired like everybody else.
Government unions are on the brink of doing for government workers what
steel and automotive unions did for those industries.
Everyone is worth the same to their country and former employers once
retired and this outrageous difference in retirement benefits cannot be
justified or sustained.
I could go on and on but those are some of the most damaging type things
in our society which will either be corrected by default (meltdown of the
economy and society) or a new renaissance of moral values and
responsibility as well as a return to basic religious values.
