My response wasn't aimed at you Gary. I totally disagree with this
attitude we are responsible or entitled to run the world as some of our
leaders and more and more of the ignorant think we should.
Our policy up until after WW2 was to pretty much look after our interest
and have sup****t our allies who for the most part were the British and
countries which were mostly not involved in world affairs.
What has been disastrous for our country is the Oil Companies and Wall
street crowd who have been busy making money selling us out the last 40
years and have shaped our foreign policy based on their GREED and lack of
any values other than money.
When Ignorant people who pay 3000 dollars a year in taxes and get much
more back in the way of services, yet can't wait to vote for s*** bags
who simply say I'm gonna cut your taxes or that government is evil, then
you have to wonder how the kids from that kind of gene pool can turn
things around.
