Baie Longue in French St. Martin is a lovely beach.  I recommend going at 
dawn so as not to annoy the locals.  ****ity is tolerated there but just 
barely.

St. Martin is also quite easy to get to from pretty much anywhere, as it's
a 
hub for many major airlines.

Under no cir***stance should you take a camera to Orient Beach.  Ignore
this 
advice at your own peril.
