I am requesting that Ms. G and Mr. T get a copy of my comments which I
understand is not normal procedure.
What I comment on below has nothing to do with the way RE conducted
this investigation.
Facts - Statement of Current Violation, Misconduct or
Non-Performance:
Unprofessional and unacceptable behavior: Numerous people in the
finance department, former employees of D and one person outside of D
knew that an investigation was being planned by Mr. T before I was
first notified on May 15, 2006.
After May 15, 2006, I was informed that Mr. T had been discussing his
plans, before May 15, 2006, with deliberate volume with one person and
was overheard by several people just as Mr. T hoped it would be. In
addition, on another occasion, before May 15, 2006, Mr. T was again
overheard discussing his plans to file a complaint. Discussing
anything out in the isles of the finance department is similar to
sending a broadcast email to all Connecticut.
Mr. T needs to comprehend that I am not going to leave my position with
C due to his resentful behavior towards me for the past 8 months. Nor
am I leaving due to his filing this complaint. Mr. T's insane need
to defame me by openly discussing his plans with his gossiping cohorts
before the investigation and the filing of this complaint is his
devious attempt to bring about my termination and/or embarrass me into
resigning.
Mr. T also needs to realize that we work in the same building and we
are bound to run into one another, which rarely occurs. This is
something Mr. T does not seem capable of dealing with very well.
On May 4, 2006 at TR's lunch, Mr. T again felt the need to put on an
animated show of obvious contempt towards me for everyone attending. I
could only endure about a minute of his vindictive scene and had to
leave.
I used email because I was afraid to talk to Mr. T about his anger due
to his bitter behavior towards me. Though, I did end up trying to talk
to Mr. T on April 18, 2006. He was so enraged and out of control that
we could not have a rational conversation.
In addition, I have numerous old emails at home written by Mr. T using
D's email system dating from 2005 that are interesting. I could very
easily use these emails as retaliation against Mr. T but this would
just be imitating Mr. T's spiteful actions and I will not stoop to
his level. I could also write a novella about Mr. T's often
inappropriate, unprofessional, unacceptable conduct and conversations
that I have dealt with since 2003.
Objectives - Description of Desired Performance and Time Frame for
Correction:
I always come to work and focus on my assigned work for the day. I
have not heard any complaints about the quality of my work. I don't
think the performance of my job has suffered from Mr. T's drama of
revenge for the past 8 months. You'll have to ask J.
As for the rest of it, in the 5 years I've been here, I have not
witnessed a surplus of cordial, professional decorum or adhering to
company policies and procedures. Discretion and confidentiality are
unknown at this location.
I do apologize to Ms. E, Ms. G and Mr. F for this situation ever coming
to their attention and thank them for them for their time.
I trust my candid comments presented above will not be cause for
further retribution by ANYONE employed at 700 F Ave. I hope this
indiscreet investigation is now closed.
