I got up, made some fresh grapefruit juice (I'm really going to miss
being able to go outside to get fruit - went looking at apple and
peach trees today), then we all started raking. Our lease includes a
lawn condition clause. We have to rake and remove all the leaves. We
can put some of them in a designated area but we filled that a couple
of weeks ago. Since, we've filled 66 leaf bags and we'll break 100
before we're done. It'll cost us 125 dollars to have the leaves taken
away. Adding the cost of the bags, we'll have spent nearly 200 dollars
on a yard that isn't ours this year. We also have to get the gutters
cleaned. Another 100 dollars.
I have to go back to work tomorrow. Bummer.
