I predict that the U.S. Republican candidate John McCain will be
elected President in November, regardless of whether the Democratic
nominee is Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, unless McCain (who after
all is will be 72 by then) has a big stroke or gets hit by lightning
or some such unforeseeable something, because it's an easy slam dunk.
The American electorate will not choose Hillary Clinton because she's
_Hillary Clinton_; nor will they elect Obama because, given America's
demographics and their social, political and economic ramifications,
your average American voter would rather vote for a yellow dog -- or
even _Hillary Clinton_ -- than _any_ given _Black man_, regardless of
how "articulate" he is. McCain, rememember, is not only a Republican
running in time of war -- against an enemy who is ill-defined but
"non-white" and non-Christian (and for that matter "anti-semitic") --
he's also a _War Hero_. And not only a War Hero but a hero of the
"police action" _in Vietnam_, who was shot down, captured, and
tortured -- which torture he withstood without giving in to his
captors' demand to sign an empty "confession" of participating in a
"war of imperialist aggression" against a foreign (also non-white and
mostly non-Christian) country. Not only that but John McCain _looks_
"Presidential," e.g., like he was born to wear a suit; even I find it
hard to crack "shaved chimp" jokes about this guy, unlike that shaved
chimp Gee Dubya "Grofaz" Bush.
Furthermore I say this situation illustrates well the corruption and
moral squalor of the American political system: the Democratic Party
would not have pitted _Hillary Clinton_ and/or any given _Black man_
against a Presidential-looking Republican War Hero unless the higher-
up Democrats intend to "throw" the election -- while simultaneously
"restoring voter confidence." The Democratic "cabal" (that is, the
Democratic wing of the "two-party" cabal) wants it to look like they
"went down fighting," and not only that but to say "But look how much
'progress' we've made, our front-runners were _a Woman_ and _a Black
man_!" -- even though it's quite obvious that an electoral system that
would make Kucinich drop out of the primaries in early February has a
snowball's chance in hell of letting either Democratic front-runner
actually take office. America won't even have as President a male
white Christian centrist, let alone _Hillary_ or a _Black man_.
What I picture, though this ain't officially part of my "prophesy,"
is that pundits will pop their hemorrhoids crowing about "America's
renewed faith in its political process"; in fact my hunch is that any
vote-counting misfeasance will be for the Democrat's benefit, to make
it look like that candidate didn't lose so easily after all. While the
wars on Afghanistan, Iraq and "Terror" will continue (and Iran will
probably get "shocked & awed" too), the price of gasoline and other
petroleum products will keep going up, and the American poor will keep
getting poorer (and fatter and sicker and stupider), and more formerly
"middle class" will people join them. And, among other things, poor
Bukvich's bosses will laugh till they wet themselves. But voter
confidence will be restored! _And y'all will, by and large, *buy it!*_
Y'all heard me here first: McCain will be elected in November 2008.
Now go on, make cracks about how I must be off my meds or there must
be a hole in my tinfoil beanie or whatever; just be prepared to admit
that, when this "prophecy" is proven correct, I did in fact tell you
so. _Again_. I, who publicly predicted both of Dubya's "victories."
(Hell, for that matter I predicted Nixon's re-election in 1972 when I
was _nine_, though of course that was before Tipper's hubby created
the Internet so y'all can't Google that up, dammit.) When will y'all
ever learn? Look at it this way: if _I_, _TheDavid(TM)_, can be so
often correct about something then it _must_ be bloody obvious, eh?
