Two novels I've got out: _The Conformist_ by Alberto Moravia
(translated from Italian) and _The Book of Dave_ by Will Self.
Are you interested in the various intertwinings of Muslim theologies,
the policies of Muslim rulers, and how the relevant histories came to
be construed? I find the early Abbasid era fascinating.
