So you found the amazon link. I guess that puts the book on the map
for Bukvich too. Although I wonder how you managed to filter it out
of the sea of torrents.
Indeed, the book contains a lot of shocking ideas, many of them very
interesting and humorous. What fascinates me is how it arrives at some
of the things that are close to things I myself hold, but via a
completely different route. There is also a tendency in it to
gratuitously offend people by putting things in the same category that
people do not like to see in the same category. For example it insists
on putting socialism and communism in the same category up to the point
of consistently using the term "socialism/communism" which is a big
nono over here. I guess this would put off worldly and discerning
connoisseurs like Moggin, but would make it perfect for juvenile and
naive people like you and me. Right David?
Maybe it's the product of an extreme right wing think tank. But that
doesn't mean all of its ideas are bad. We have some right wingers with
good ideas over here too. For example the people calling themselves
"proud of the Netherlands" who want to let people participate in the
decision making via the Internet. The problem is the people are not
allowed to determine the course of the party, which brings us back to
square one.
