Merely?

It is 2008! We have scientific facts (claims, anyway) that being
optimistic will bring you longer life, more robust health, better
interpersonal relation****ps, more money and every other item on those
life quality psycho questionnaires. See Martin Seligman you don't
believe me. Your nothing more and merely indicate to me you might want
to get with it man.

Do you know a lot of three-year olds? In my experience they are not
cynical. They are MONSTROUS. I presume they go well with onions and
carrots in a stew pot, but that isn't legal here (yet).
