Today I went shopping in the city center. It was a bright and sunny
Saturday and a lot of people were sight seeing. As usual I was all by
myself and on foot. I noticed that very few few people were alone like
me, and even fewer of those were actually looking to meet new people.
Those that were in groups were to 'busy' talking among themselves
to start a conversation and those those that were single were mostly
hu****ng by, carrying groceries or other stuff, or walking a dog, or
using some other excuse for being out on the streets alone.=20
One can interpret this as those being in groups being more happy and
secure, or one can look upon this as most people being locked into some
group, unable to break out and start an interesting contact with
someone new. It all depends on how you look at it. I'm no optimist in
the Bukvichian sense, but I know how to see this.=20
