Texas is going to challenge the anchor baby law. You know the one . By
introducing legislation that prohibits illegals and their anchor
babies
from getting any state funding. ( employment, welfare, schooling etc.)
Pay close attention to the words [ are citizens of the United States
and
of the State wherein they reside. ]
{ All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to
the
jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State
wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall
abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;
nor
shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without
due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the
equal protection of the laws. }
This statement clearly says that one can not be a citizen unless born
here and residing in a state. Illegal aliens do not reside. Reside
means
that you lawfully live in the state. They do not lawfully live in this
country and therefore can not be a resident.
Hopefully some non liberal judge hears this case when this law is
challenged..
