Problem is that as time progresses this type of thinking will become more
prevalent as the people of the US are subjected to the same
disrespect as the Germans got right before the Nazis took power. They had
"the night of the long knives" we will probably have "cinco de
murder" or some such. We will inevitably have to assert ourselves just to
preserve our way of life and our concept of democracy. It seems
ludicris to say, but in order to preserve democracy we may first have to
suspend democracy, and that is a dire prospect indeed. What other
prospects are there? will the governmental leaders open their eyes to
reality and make the needed changes to save our country? Not likely. If
it doesn't serve their personal self-interests or their conspiratorial
agendas they disregard the value it has to our society. Give the devil
his due here, regretably we may all be wearing that symbol on our sleeves
some day.
