Propositions by Big Business Win

by Marinus van der Lubbe <mvdl@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 6, 2008 at 08:42 PM

Is it because people get too much information from television on how to
vote?

I don't own a television, so I am aways surprised by an election's
results.

Just the fact that some organization has money to buy an endless series
of advertisements in order catapult the propaganda should cause you to
wonder whether you are looking a steaming pile of cor****ate corruption
with a light coating of white wash.

Other than Proposition 93 Limits on Legislators' Terms in Office, every
proposition pass-fail result was the exact opposite of my vote.

Indian Gaming Compacts

The greatest surprise was Californians allowing the quadrupling of
one-armed bandits while tribal gambling revenues (revenues which now
will not be accountable nor verifiable) payments to the state would be
reduced or eliminated. Plus, casino workers get screwed over. Why do
Americans hate laborers so much?
