Well, see, BAM claims that what philosophers verify is the *assumptions*
that underlie science.
So in the case of Mercury, So what BAM really needs it to tell us
is which philosophers verified that:
-- there can be no distinction between acceleration and
a gravitational field.
-- all observers will observe the same phenomena,
regardless of their realtive motion.
-- the speed of light will be constant regardless
of the motion of the observer and the source.
I'm sure he'll have no problem with that.
