Snow: Iraq Surge Was Opposed By 80% Of Bush Advisers
When announcing the Iraq "surge" last January, President Bush emphasized
that he and his advisers led a "comprehensive" review of past mistakes in
Iraq, concluding that Iraq needed 30,000 more U.S. troops....
....Yesterday, in a speech in California, former White House Press
Secretary
Tony Snow revealed the extent to which Bush ignored his advisers when
deciding whether to implement the Iraq "surge" in January 2007:
He praised Bush for increasing U.S. troop levels in Iraq despite
widespread
unpopularity for the war at home and abroad. He said 80 percent of Bush's
advisers opposed last year's military surge in the nation, which still
faces
an uncertain future.

Too bad they didn't oppose the initial crime - starting the war in the
first
place - from the start and resign en masse leaving bush, cheney, and rummy
sucking on each other.
impeach.
arrest.
detain.
waterboard.
trial.
imprison.
waterboard.
hang.
Gates just said he wanted to Super Size the surge. The surge has lowered
the
John McCain estimate of Iraq occupation from 100 years to 99. Get ready
for
the McCain draft.
When daddy's that rich and powerful it don't really matter to a lil chimp
like the duhbster.
