These are certainly very divisive issues; ones that inspire
deep resentment and contempt between both citizens and soldiers.
In light of the recent repeal of the prohibition of posse
comitatus with respect to the American military, as well as the view
of many that the country may soon possibly fall under a declaration of
martial law by the President in the wake of any future national
disaster or "terror attack", one must consider the question of whether
these recent events and their revelations to the public may or may not
actually be intended to serve some kind of special purpose in that
regard.
