I am admittedly weak on understanding the process as a whole, but could it

be that the superdelegates are exercising responsibility in that, a. they 
don't want to influence the voting at this time? and, b. that they feel
they 
should wait until the will of the 'people' is more assuredly apparent
before 
they cast their votes?
