That, in a nutshell, is pretty much what's about to happen.  Just like 
elected representatives, convention delegates, super- or regular, can
choose 
to function as trustees _or_ delegates, but, unlike elected
representatives, 
convention delegates would incite revolt if they decided to go against the

will of the electorate.

However, the major factor that's going to play out in the next week or two

that will finally end this Democratic pissing contest is that Clinton's 
campaign contributions are going to drop off sharply.  Then the _real_ fun

begins.
