Nope. Different. We are not at war with Iraq and Afghanistan's
governments but with independant bands of Islamic militia.
If we threatened the existance of the North Vietnam leadership and the
people like we did German and Japanese then it might
have been different. It was politics that resulted in a different
doctrine of war.
Lessons for today? We must slaughter the moslem and
do it with a positive attitude. The moslem will break.
