Jewelers customer comment email. The response from Kay Jewelers
Customer Relations Representative follows.
This information is provided so that Black and Latino consumers and

*********************************************************************
Febuary 7th, 2007. 6:50pm. John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou, KFI 640am
Los Angeles.
Kay Jewelers is a sponsor of this show. http://www.kay.com
John: Now Santa ana is perfect to analyze the gang (unintellible) we
have a nearly all hispanic population.
Largly illegal aliens. so so you know you.. you know.. everybody is
the same, everybody is the same.
and collectively ...they don't even show up for class. When you go
to a point where... I mean, You can't say
the white man is supressing these people. allright? They are all the
same. It's a perfect little petri dish to analyze
all these great theories. obviously the attendance is so low that
they're are going to be losing millions of dollars.
And they have to offer up a car? a Chevy? to see if that will get the
parents interested in going to class?
Obviously there is a huge problem with the culture there. Huge problem
with the Mexican culture. Could you imagine....
Ken: What if it worked though, the parents start pu****ng their kids
into school everyday and have perfect attendance record.
Not that they'll learn anything.
John: But there is only one car. They'll know that odds are....
Ken: Oh come, these are people who line up every day to buy lottery
tickets at the liquor story."
John: But to get the school everyday? heh heh I just don't see it. and
the thing is. you know.. Say your kid is sick for a week.
Well then You know you're out of luck, you aren't going to win. there
will always somebody who shows up everyday.
Ken: Oh then you'll give up completely.. 'Oh we can't win the car'.
John: I mean If they gave a car to everyone that showed everyone who
showed up let's say 99% of the time..
I'd like to see that because there aren't enough cars to give away.
Ken: It's valued at $13,000 and it's donated.
John: That's right.. and 1000s of kids in the schools. but if there is
only one.
first one... first bad patch you have in october where kid you know
doesn't eh.. 'I've lost. I'm out of the running'.
You know. One of the three white kids in Santa Ana is going to end up
winning the car.. the asian family in Santa Ana,
they're going to have the new car.
Ken: Well they decided, they are going to have a summit over this
achievement gap. there going to be conferences, meetings
and discussions
ha ha!
John: and let me... who is going to tell the truth? Who is going to
redesign mexican culture? Who's going to redesign inner
city ghetto black culture? Who's that wizard. Who's that social
engineer. It's impossible! I mean, do you have to go to
asian neighborhoods. ... to tell them to ... uh hey... show me the
asian school where you have to put up a car.
Ken: no one. I just think California is going to become and has
become... haves and have nots. (unintellible)
John: Has there been a car offered up as prize to get the Jewish kids
to go to class. No. It's just absurd. Those conferences
are probably.. imagine how excrutiatingly painful it would be to sit
at one of these conferences.
John: We'll be back tomorrow at 3 oclock. Leah brandon has the news
next then John Ziegler. John & Ken show. KFI am 640.
More stimulating talk radio.
January 7th.
