Carnegie Mellon University does not follow its own policy. It permits
abuses such as in the case Dave Touretzky who has already refused to
answer charges of racism. But there is even more.
As a professor there he has used university facilities to order ***
toys. In one instance he ordered two dildos. While his private life is
his own business it becomes a matter of concern when he uses
university property (funded by student tuition and federal grants) for
such purposes. Perhaps the nature of this policy abuse is too
embarrassing for university officials to deal with and if so it
indicates even greater problems with abuse at CMU.
