Right on, the missile defense system at Fort Greely, Alaska has
provided many good Davis bacon wage jobs, too. We need McCain for our
next President or this system will be scraped and Ft. Wainwright and
Eielson AFB both will be cut to the bone and this will devastate the
economy in the Interior of Alaska. The gas pipeline is about 10 years
away and the trans-Alaska pipeline is half full. We don't have a lot
going for us right now other than the military defense budget. Thank
god for Senator Stevens for sending us enough earmark funds to stave
off a depression here.
