Having once again engaged in mortal combat with my weight, the first thing
I 
thought of was my own health.  I work and work to lose two lousy pounds
but 
will gain it back if I merely look at something yummy.  There's an old TV 
advertisement on MovieFlix.com in which the announcer praises the use of 
hydrogenated oils in a particular brand of peanut butter because it
prevents 
the oil from separating.  Of course these days we run away from all things

hydrogenated.

We tried the M&Ms first only because the wife is a sweets junkie.  She
beat 
the shrew to the peanut butter too.  We'd barely got home before she
brought 
Skippy over to me, saying "Honey, this is really good."  A few days ago I 
gave her a kiss when I got home from work, only to discover she had peanut

butter breath.
