I recently added a ACSAlaska wireless USB device to my laptop for
traveling purposes. Here in Anchorage I tried it and indeed it is as
fast as my home DSL. If you have ACS DSL already you can get the
device free and the service is an additonal $30 a month. Some
services want $250 for the device and about $80 a month. At some
locations in Fairbanks it is not as fast as DSL, but it certainly is
here in Anchorage.
