My generalization (aka IMHO).  There are more democrats then
republicans.  They win by default - with no campaigning.   They have
no trouble voting in democrat home-state cheese givers to congress
seats but the presidency is different.  Democrats have trouble finding
good presidential candidates.  Further, with a democratic congress,
democrats feel the need to balance the power by having a republican
president.

This election is NO exception.  Arguably, these democrat candidates
are the worst candidates they have EVER fielded.
