Ken's Internet Junction account was terminated for abuse.  This was
confirmed by the ISP.

One of Ken's problems is that he doesn't seem to realize how transparent
his smoke screens are.  More than a dozen separate people concluded,
independently, that "Judge Dredd" was him.  Despite this, he humilated
himself for months by carrying on the charade.  To add further
embarrassment, he occasionally would forget which ID he was posting
through, and would refer to himself in the first person from the Judge
Dredd address (or in the third person from his Ken Pangborn address).

You almost have to feel sorry for the guy.

Remember, though, "Tom" (whose name was John at one point) was Ken's
"friend" who occasionally came to Ken's house to log on via his computer.

Of course, the archives show that Ken went through a few different excuses
before settling on this one.  When Terri Madison first exposed him on his
screwup, he initially claimed that she had "altered" the headers.  Once
other people came forward noticing the same thing, Ken changed his story.

Don't hold your breath waiting for this.

Six years ago, Ken claimed that I had been dishonorably discharged from
the
Marine Corps.  He also claimed that a California judge had issued a
restraining order preventing me from coming within 1000 miles of my wife
and child.  In July of 2000, he vowed that sup****ting court records were
being sent to him, and that he would be posting them in "7 to 10 days".
Four years later, usenet is still holding its collective breath.
