Ruwayn Omar Murad is wanted for kidnapping his two children from the
residence of the parents of his estranged
wife in Rutland, Vermont. On the morning of April 30, 2000, Murad
traveled to Vermont in order to meet his
children, Maya (then age 5) and Omar (then age 2). Shortly after
arriving at the residence, he took the children
outside to play with them in the yard of the property. He then forced
the children into a vehicle and left the area.
A federal arrest warrant charging Murad with international parental
kidnapping was issued in Burlington, Vermont,
on May 25, 2000.
REWARD!
A reward of $5,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of
Ruwayn Omar Murad and the return of
the two children to their mother, who has legally achieved status
internationally as the sole legal guardian of her
two children.

Your mother loves you very much and thinks of you every minute of every
day since your Baba took you
away. She has been looking for you since you left and will keep looking
for you until she finds you.
