Seems it was solely the WTC attack and the way he stood by the American
people at that difficult moment that won him the second elections.
Behind the devilishness of this attack his own psychopathy was not seen
clearly. I do remember that he was the one who, as governor of Texas, had
no qualms about refusing ANY pardon for any folks sentenced to death.
