if you knew your history, you would know that actually it was the
other way around

you see, due to poverty and other factors there was a longstanding
enmity between armenians and mountain turk tribesmen, that tribesmen
used to carry out raids and plundered armenian villages on the regular
basis

the ottoman state normally had not much control over these matters,
much like nowdays  when few hundred mountain turds could cause a
serious trouble again, the exception is being today that the modern,
mechanized turkish army is able to kick their ugly maoist butt back
where they belong

so, when tribal vendetta got out of hands, the ottoman turks had to
step in, in order to protect the mountain turks, who got slaughtered
by the armenians, as armenian bandits were armed to the teeth with
russian weapons

the turks had to sup****t their own millet (co-religionists)
and in return now the ungrateful descendants of those said mountain
turds are biting the very hand that not only fed and protected them,
but had to take a blame for their former actions as well
