Kenneth Selin, President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada
walked past the Toronto Film 07 Festival on Gerrard Street to the next
street over, Gould Street, to RECHALK the Web address of his party on
the sidewalk just in front of the Ryerson University Bookstore.
Un undercover cop waiting in front of the closed RU Bookstore asked
him what he was doing to which the President/Party Leader of the
=C9galit=E9 Party of Canada responded: "NO SPEAK ENGLISH."
A minute or so later, he was confronted by four (4) Ryerson University
security people one who was wearing a RU Unviersity Student Union T-
shirt.
An African-Canadian RU security guard THREATHENED to have him arrested
if he contined with his chalking.
"Using WHAT! law? Is this sidewalk PUBLIC PROPERTY, YES or NO!"
SHOUTED the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9
Party of Canada.
An African-Canadian RU security guard responded by saying: "You'll be
arrested undre Article 411 of the Criminal Code. The sidewalk is
adjacent to RU property."
The President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada said: "If I
can't promote my political party with chalk HERE!, I'll go over to the
Toronto Film Festival line up on Gerrard Street with this eh-ok.ca
sign and tell the people what happened HERE." Like a PACK OF *WILD*
WOLVES the four pursued him.
The President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada lifted his
sign high for all Toronto Film Festival attendees to see and told them
what had happened. He was then QUICKLY HANDCUFFED by the guy with the
T-shirt that he was ARRESTED FOR DISTURBING THE PEACE. The time was
about 8:45 a.m.
He was lead by the four (4) to a RU security guard interogation room
with another undercover cop who sported the RU security uniform.
NEITHER had NAME TAGS NOR BADGE NUMBERS and *REFUSED* to give their
names. Finally, the guy in the RU Student Union t-shirt said his RU
badge # was 161.
They would say things and whenever the President/Party Leader of the
=C9galit=E9 Party of Canada responded they wrote it down in their notepad
filling page after page.
The one in uniform said that the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9
Party of Canada has a SPLIT PERSONALITY and is BI-POLAR. Such remarks
from a PUBLIC OFFICIAL is SLANDER: A CRIMINAL! OFFENSE.
They asked him if he was religious. And many UNRELATED *CORNY*
questions.
Every once in a while the one in the T-shirt would come over and check
his handcuffs.
Whenever he tried to standup. They came over each putting a hand on
the shoulder of the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of
Canada in order to make him sit down. This happened a number of times.
Then, the one in the T-shirt said the Chief of Police said to let the
president/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada go. And asked
him what he was going to do once he left there.
The President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada responded
that he was going to go back finish his chalking.
NOT THE ANSWER apparently they were looking for.
The interrogation continued with more *NUTTY* questions like "Do you
have a license?", but AT NO TIME WOULD THEY TELL HIM WHAT HE WAS
BEING CHARGED WITH other than at the time he was initial handcuffing.
They *REPEATEDLY* said: "You know why you are being arrested."
All a long they *BOTH* REFUSED TO GIVE THEIR NAMES. Neither of them
had name tags nor wore badges. Who are they, really? Ryerson
University security personnel or undercover cops?
The President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada told them
that it was A BLACK DAY for Ryerson Univeristy, because University is
suppose to be a placethat respects FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, POLITICAL
CHOICE, and FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT.
He said the students should protest *POLICE STATE SURVEILLANCE* at RU
back by ASKING TO HAVE THEIR TUITION FEES REFUNDED.
The President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada told them
that he was *A POLITICAL DETAINEE* and that HIS DETENTION WAS ILLEGAL
and tantamount TO A HOSTAGE-TAKING contravening his CONSTITUTIONAL
RIGHT TO FREE MOBILITY constituting A CRIMINAL OFFENSE and contrary to
Section Three (3) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms that
allows a Canadian to create and promote a political party.
Then TWO COPS appeared on the scene: the blond female sargeant McLean
and her sidekick, Constable Reid.
Sargent McLean raised the fact that he came from Ottawa which had no
bearing at all with the issue at hand. Nutty.
Constable Reid started by addressing President/Party Leader of the
=C9galit=E9 Party of Canada CONDESENDINGLY as Kenneth and then as Kenny
and after putting on a black pair of gloves added a *2ND PAIR* of hand
cuffs that he REALLY TIGHTHENED so that it hurt and appeared to
administer a quick injection of some sort to the top of the left-hand
of President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada leaving a
reddish bump.
More meaningless questions followed like to you have a driver's
license.
Then, he was lifted up by Constable Reid and asked: "Have you ever
been to a hospital lately?" as he was escorted out of the door and out
of the building into the back seat of a VERY HOT CRUISER where he was
forced to lie on his back because there was hardly no leg room with
the handcuffs hurting his wrists.
He was then driven back to Seaton's (nicknamed: "Satan's") Place
(men's hostel commonly called a shelter) at 339 George Street off
Gerrard Street just a block over to the East of Javis and Gerrard
Streets. He was kept in the car for some time while the cops were
talking to the Toronto City crew at Seaton's Place.
They came out. Opened that back door. Took the handcuffs off.
When the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada
complained about the handcuff markings, Sargeant McLean said not to
worry they would go away in a few hours. He hadn't noticed at that
time the red bump on the top of his left hand.
When he asked her what was next, Sargeant McLean responded: "You're a
FREE MAN. You *ALWAYS* BEEN A FREE MAN."
The time was 11:15.
>From 8:45 to 11:15 the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of
Canada was a *POLICE STATE POLITICAL DETAINEE*: he was NOT a FREE MAN,
but a HOSTAGE OF THE STATE, NOT a pleasant situation to be in for
anyone.
His detainment was *DELIBERATELY* orhestrated by Ryerson University in
conjuction with STATE AUTORITIES.
A plan was developped and executed.
The people involved were WELL BRIEFED.
That a political leader should be arrested and detained on a
university campus like that of Toronto's Ryerson University SPEAKS
LOUDLY OF FASCISM.
University is where FREE THOUGHT and FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION should be
ENCOURAGED, *NOT* DISCOURAGED.
That this should have taken place on a university campus in DOWNTOWN
TORONTO is BOTH *SCARY* and *OUTRAGEOUS*!
According to the President/Party Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada
THE MONITORING and SURVEILLANCE of college and university student by
the POLICE STATE APPARATUS is not only unnecessary, senseless, but A
WASTE OF TAXPAYERS' MONEY.
The Governement is there is SERVE and PROTECT: NOT to POLICE and
TERRORIZE.
The detainment of a political leader in this case was an act of POLICE
STATE PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM that is meant to BULLY and INTIMIDATE
him into accepting the POLICE STATE STATUS QUO of Canada.
The POLICE STATE STATUS QUO means MORE and MORE NEED-LESS TAXATION and
LESS AND LESS SERVICES which NO ONE WANTS.
The POLICE STATE STATUS QUO treats Canadians as HOSTAGES who are
OBLIGED TO ACCEPT GREATER and GREATER TAXATION as the Police Forces
grow BIGGER and BIGGER filling their ranks with MORE and MORE
"intellectually deficient" cops who are *UNABLE* to go after BILLION
DOLLAR BAY STREET ORGANIZED CRIME.
With the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada in power, cops will be required to
have a GOOD university degree and policing will be seen as part of
social services.
With cops with university degrees, the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada
believes it can SAFELY REDUCE the size of all Police Forces in Canada
along with the size of the judiciary and the number of prisons (200+)
by 2/3s as well
as getting rid of an EXTENSIVE USELESS BILLION DOLLAR PLUS NETWORK of
UNDERCOVER COPS that bum around on the streets, in the shelters,
colleges, and universities of Canada including GOVERN-MENT OPERATIVES
that the SPY ON 100% publicly funded organizations on behalf of the
Government.
"Don't legitimize this Police State nonsense by voting.
Don't vote unless you're voting =C9galit=E9." says the President/Party
Leader of the =C9galit=E9 Party of Canada.
