The =C9PC (=C9galit=E9 Party of Canada) puts WOMEN 1st! in 10 ways.
1. 50% of all the jobs in the public + parapublic sectors - where
possible -
will be occupied by women by law.
2. There will be significant tax incentives to encourage couples to
have
children.
3. Women with preschool children will be able to get extended
maternity leave +
receive $1200 a month (to go up to $1500 asap).
4. Single mothers living on their own who choose NOT to work will get
monthy
$1800 tax-free.
5. The Government will do everything possible to help single mothers
stay in
touch with their children should they decide to put them up for
adoption.
6. The employer will be responsible for finding a suitable daycare
spot.
7. The employer will pay the daycare expenses - with the Government
subsidizing whenever necessay.
8. The =C9PC will make employers liable not only for the ***ual
exploitation
of women, but also for the costs resulting from marital breakdown.
In
addition
to providing suitable compensation for the harm done, employers -
without
exeception - will go to jail.
9. The =C9PC party will encourage women to run for office.
10. Female =C9PC members of Parliament (MPs) will be expected to
champion women issues in the inter-national arena.
The =C9PC strongly believes when Government puts WOMEN 1st,
Canadian families will be happier.
