You mistate my point rather blatantly. On the contrary, I think that the
Israelis have done quite well for themselves -- building a Western
democracy
in the middle of the desert, humiliating the Arabs on the battlefield
(despite being outnumbered 20+ to 1), etc.

What I have noted is the utter hypocrisy and/or lack of knowledge of the
Palestinian admirers.

Well, the Arabs and their admirers are always invoking the UN when they
criticize Israel. In their ignorance or hypocrisy, they fail to note that
according to the League, the area should be a Jewish homeland. And the
acts
of the League are still binding on the signatories of the UN...
