On October 8, 2005, Korea-based Donga re****ted the story carried on
Xinhua News Agency that the Chinese should learn environmental
conservation and public morality from the Koreans.
According to the story, around 80 Korean tourists helped cleaned up the
trash at a public garden in Wulumuqi City in Xinjiang on October 2,
cleaning up the area around a one-kilometer radius within 20 minutes,
and 30 of the tourists were children.
Yoo In-gyu, a Korean tourist, was interviewed as saying he was
"surprised by the amount of trash in this beautiful place."
